My most current project involves completing my senior thesis project about bringing environmental consciousness to events and the entertainment industry. My boyfriend and I are working towards completing a green film by the end of the year and showing that is not only possible but also “cool” to be green! I am trying to create a standard for the new generation of filmmakers coming up and if you can help in any way drop me a message. The entertainment industry is the perfect place to for greening to be implemented. So get on board. Green is the new black!

“I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and found that life was service. I acted and, behold, service was joy.” These are the words of Rabindranath Tagore which I have come to realize, epitomize the direction of my life.

Ever since I was child, I have always immersed myself with the most diverse and delicious tastes of what life has to offer. I would be faced with challenges academically, socially or physically, and I would embrace them in the moment. As I grew up, social pressure insisted that I specify my direction. From the medical path, to the political path, to teaching, acting, and directing, my life has twisted along many paths. Some young people believe growing up means abandoning their ideals. But I have learned that it means learning how to live our ideals, every day, on the Earth.

I hope to start my own production studio which seeks to address development issues worldwide; healthcare, womens rights, and the environment. It will be the first completely GREEN production house. Watch out Warner Bros!

“Be the change you wish to see for the world.” With every waking day, I hope to continue to live a life of service and social transformation and be the change that I want to see for the world. I have always wanted to work with people and I believe that if the passion, creativity and commitment of people around the world can be liberated for the common good, we can change the world. I believe that as a youth of today, we stand at a threshold point and opportunity in life, and as we make choices we will have the power to transform the future and do something about the suffering that is taking place in the world.
